Authorities in Arizona and California are looking for a 27-year-old woman who vanished at the end of last month.

Amanda Nenigar's vehicle was discovered abandoned in the Arizona desert a week after she was last seen on February 28 in Blythe, California. KPHO reported this. KPHO reported..

La Paz County Sheriff William Ponce mentioned that Nenigar's Toyota Camry was located in La Paz County, Arizona, approximately 45 minutes away from her residence in the Blythe area. It was peculiar because the car was found resting on a large boulder.

Ponce stated that Nenigar often drives to La Paz County because she has relatives there.

He said, “When you have a vehicle that’s abandoned and you don’t have any idea where the person has gone, it all seems very strange to us and it’s very worrying.”

Ponce said Nenigar called 911 in California the day before she went missing and said she was stuck in a ditch.

He stated, “We do know that there was a 911 call that went to the El Centro, California highway patrol station around that time frame indicating that she was in Anza and on her way to the Palm Springs area.”

She never reached Palm Springs. The sheriff did not state if anyone responded to the 911 call or if she was seen at that time.

Nenigar was last seen in a pink hooded sweatshirt, black leggings, and black and white sneakers. Additionally, she has a scar on her cheek, a rose tattoo on her right hand, and might be wearing a thin bracelet while carrying a pink purse. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

If anyone has information, they should contact the La Paz County Sheriff’s Office at 928-669-6141 or the Blythe Police Department at 760-922-6111.
