Clayton County police in Georgia report that officers fatally shot a man being investigated for sexual assault after he fired at them.
According to 11Alive News, the shooting took place on Thursday at the intersection of Crystal Lake, off Riverdale Road. The suspect, who has not been identified, was accused of sexually assaulting someone overnight.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is currently at the scene and Clayton police is scheduled to provide an update today.
