Brian Pritchard, the first vice chairman of the Republican Party, Georgia was responsible for spreading false claims of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 election. An administrative judge in Georgia revealed that he illegally cast his vote nine times while on probation for committing check forgery.

As initially reported by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ,, Pritchard has also been ordered to pay a $5,000 fine. The decision was made by Georgia Administrative Law Judge Lisa Boggs, who also mandated a public reprimand by the state’s election board.

Almost 30 years ago, Pritchard was found guilty of multiple felony charges related to check forgery. USA Today The ruling revealed that the charges were connected to a $38,000 construction project. Pritchard’s probation was revoked several times over the years, including in 1999, 2002, and 2004. In 2004, a judge imposed a new sentence extending through 2011.

Due to his felony conviction, Pritchard was not permitted to vote.

Boggs’ order mentioned that Pritchard falsely stated on voting forms during his probation that he was eligible to vote, participating in Georgia's primary and general elections despite his felony conviction.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution revealed that when questioned about this, Pritchard responded: “Do you think the first time I voted I said, oh I got away with it. Let’s do it eight more times?”

Pritchard, who is also a conservative radio host, did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday, despite consistently denying any wrongdoing.

According to the Independent ,, Boggs stated this week that there was nothing “credible or convincing” in Pritchard’s claims that he simply forgot about his felony status when voting.

“At the very least, even if the Court accepts he did not know about his felony sentences, the record before this Court demonstrates that he should have known,” she said.

On Pritchard’s website, Fetch Your News, he aired his grievances about accusations of illegal voting in 2022. blog post.

“Yes something happened in Pennsylvania that is of public record. But the Georgia Secretary of States wants you to believe that I knowingly voted while serving a felony sentence. Never happened! I did vote every time they said, but never illegally,” he wrote.

According to USA Today, Pritchard also used his platform to assert that voter fraud led to Joe Biden winning the 2020 presidential election over Donald Trump, a widely debunked theory that has resulted in criminal charges against the former president. This week in Georgia, an appeals court overturned the conviction of a woman who had been sentenced to five years for voting while on probation.
