During a traffic stop on Thursday night, a 15-year-old Virginia girl who was previously abducted was found safe. A 28-year-old woman has been charged with multiple offenses in connection with the incident.

However, the man suspected of abducting Ronique Poteat, her half brother Tyrell Ashley Davenport, is still on the run. WRIC reported..

Davenport allegedly took Poteat on Wednesday night, leading to the issuance of an Amber Alert. as CrimeOnline reported. The pair were seen leaving in a black 2006 Honda Accord, which was later found abandoned on Thursday morning.

Poteat was found after a car was stopped by Henrico County police on Interstate 95 near Chamberlayne Avenue just before 10:30 p.m., according to WRIC. A woman in the car was detained for questioning and subsequently charged.

Earleecha Williams, 28, has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, accessory after the fact in a felony, obstruction of justice, and abduction of a minor.

Police stated that Williams was driving the vehicle that was stopped on I-95, and that she and the girl knew each other, but did not provide further details.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are currently searching for Davenport, 23. Anyone with information is urged to contact Det. M. Lynch at 804-501-7324.
