A 17-year-old girl from Texas was discovered dead on the roadside on Wednesday morning, after she did not come back from a walk with a friend the previous night.

The girl’s body was found uncovered under a bridge, and the police later published pictures from security cameras of a person they are interested in, asking for help to identify and find him.
It’s not clear if the person the police are interested in is the same person as the friend the girl was with the night before.
The police said they spoke briefly to a person at the place where the body was found, but that person was not arrested.
