The gunman who killed people in Pennsylvania and fled to New Jersey is now facing numerous charges in both states

A man, 26, accused of murdering three people in Pennsylvania and escaping to New Jersey on Saturday has been charged with multiple gun-related offenses and car theft in Trenton, where he was captured after a long search.

New Jersey authorities have charged Andre Gordon Jr. with car theft, illegal weapon possession, possession of an assault weapon, possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of stolen goods, possession of high-capacity gun magazines, and possession of hollow-point ammunition. as reported by Levittown Now.

CrimeOnline reported this as well, Gordon supposedly stole a car and went to Falls Township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he allegedly shot and killed his stepmother and teenage sister before 9 a.m. He then went to another residence, where he shot the mother of his children and attacked her mother with his assault rifle.

After the third killing, he reportedly stole a Honda CRV from a nearby Dollar General store and drove to Trenton across the Delaware River. He briefly entered a home there but managed to escape before the police could secure the area. per WPVIHe was subsequently apprehended around 5 p.m. while walking on New York Avenue.

Trenton police director Steve Wilson mentioned, “The suspect was actually walking on New York Avenue. He was stopped and identified and taken into custody.”

According to Levittown Now, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office stated that Gordon will be facing no less than 32 charges there, including first- and second-degree murder, burglary, aggravated assault, car robbery, illegal restraint, and reckless endangerment.

The victims of Gordon's shootings were Karen Gordon, 52, Kera Gordon, 13, and Taylor Daniel, 25. He allegedly searched for three more family members at the Gordon home, including another teenager, who were present at the time but managed to hide from him.

New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin expressed, “The string of violent acts that took place yesterday, allegedly at the hands of a single armed individual, alarmed and terrorized communities in Bucks and Mercer counties. It is the latest in a horrific series of examples demonstrating how illegal firearms and assault rifles can enable one distressed and disturbed person to cause extensive harm and leave a trail of tragedies behind.

Bucks County officials will collaborate with their New Jersey counterparts to bring Gordon back to Pennsylvania and face the charges there.

Mercer County, New Jersey, Prosecutor Angelo Onofri stated, “We’ve been in constant contact with Bucks County authorities and will work promptly to ensure that Andre Gordon is returned to Pennsylvania to face his murder charges.
