The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee repeated during a press briefing on Tuesday that they are still actively searching for Sebastian Rogers, a 15-year-old autistic teenager.
Sheriff's Deputy Eric Craddock and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation stated that there is currently no evidence of foul play linked to Sebastian’s disappearance. However, they are keeping all possibilities open as they continue the investigation.
The TBI said, "Right now, there's no proof that there's a crime involved, but we're keeping options open."
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Sebastian was last seen on February 26 at his family home in Sumner County. TBI subsequently issued an AMBER Alert on the afternoon of February 27.
Chris Proudfoot, Sebastian’s stepfather, informed Nancy Grace during Monday’s “Crime Stories” that he was about four hours away in Memphis working on a construction project at St. Jude when Sebastian disappeared.
“At approximately 6:20 a.m.,” he called 911 after his wife, Katie Proudfoot, told him Sebastian was missing.
There were no signs of forced entry, and nothing was missing from the home. The Proudfoot family does not have an alarm or a security camera at the home.
Katie Proudfoot mentioned that the only thing she heard the night before Sebastian disappeared was a “thud” from his room, and Sebastian assured her shortly after that he was OK.

Police announced that a pair of glasses were found during the search. It is currently unknown if the glasses belong to Sebastian.
“Some glasses were found in the last few days, and we are still looking into whether they belonged to Sebastian,” Craddock stated.
Sebastian is described as a white male who is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs between 106 to 108 pounds. He has dirty blond hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. His flashlight keychain is missing.
Anyone with information about Rogers’ location should contact the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office at 615-451-3838 or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
