A man from Georgia was taken into custody on Saturday and accused of placing his two young children in a vehicle and starting a fire, which resulted in their deaths.
Adan Tzoyohua Panzo, 36, is said to have killed the 1- and 3-year-old kids "during a domestic disagreement with his wife," as reported by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Officials in Webster County responded to a car fire in Preston.
"My team was informed en route that there were two kids in the car. When they arrived, they put out the fire," stated Webster County Fire Chief Cody Brown to WALB.
Brown mentioned that the children could not be rescued by the time the emergency crews got there.
Webster County authorities asked the GBI to look into the incident, leading to the quick arrest of Panzo on charges of felonious murder, deliberate murder, and arson. He is currently held without bond at the Webster County jail.
