Authorities have not identified any suspects in the shooting deaths of two women at a New Mexico park. They are also trying to locate a 10-month-old baby who was reportedly taken from the scene.

The baby and a 5-year-old girl, who sustained a critical gunshot injury to the head, were the children of one of the women, Samantha Cisneros, 23.

According to a statement from the New Mexico State Police, an Amber Alert has been issued. CrimeOnline provided the physical description of Cisneros and the other woman, Taryn Allen, both 23, who were from Texico, a town about 9 miles east of Clovis.The FBI has become involved in the search for the baby, as reported by KLBK. The fathers of the two children are cooperating with the investigation and are not considered suspects.

During a news conference, Clovis Deputy Chief Trevor Thron stated that the 5-year-old is recovering and receiving care. He also provided details about the women's last stops before the park and mentioned a witness who heard gunshots but did not report them immediately. The bodies were discovered shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Although a piece of debris from a maroon Honda was found at the scene, authorities are unsure if it is connected to the incident.The women's personal belongings were found near their bodies in the park. When authorities located an infant car seat, stroller, and bottle near one of the women's minivan, they realized the baby was missing.

Despite an extensive search, no additional clues were found in the park or surrounding area. FBI Special Agent Raul Bujanda emphasized the agency's commitment to working with local law enforcement to find the perpetrator and urged anyone with information to come forward.
