Police in the north part of Vermont are searching for two twin boys who are thought to be with their mother, even though she does not have custody.

The Colchester Police have stated that Robert and Colt Rushford, both 12, were last seen with their mother, Heather Rushford, at the Price Chopper Super Center in Colchester on Tuesday afternoon.

Heather Rushford may be driving a white, 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan with a Vermont tag HYR 907.

Authorities say they were informed about the situation because of a report of custodial interference, and they are worried about the boys’ well-being. WCAX reported.
