An undercover operation in Tennessee resulted in the apprehension of a Grand Junction man on several charges related to sexual abuse of a young person.
Investigators from the Internet Crimes Against Children unit began looking into the case on April 15 after discovering a large amount of material related to child sexual abuse being shared from an address in Grand Junction, Tennessee. the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said.
On May 10, authorities carried out a search at the location with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations and the Hardeman and Madison County Sheriff’s Offices, and confiscated multiple devices.
Following the search, they apprehended 69-year-old Charles Vinyard, accusing him of 10 counts of exploiting a minor and 10 counts of aggravated exploitation of a minor.
