A woman in Florida, her boyfriend, and her son are facing charges for sexually abusing children and streaming the abuse to people who paid to watch.
Walquiria Cassini, 38, and Ryan Londono, 42, are facing charges including sexual assault of a child, solicitation, and use of a child in a sexual performance. Cassini’s 20-year-old son, Matthew Cassini, is charged with sexually assaulting a child. WPTV reported.
During a court hearing, Cassini's attorney mentioned that Cassini was not charged with filming the encounter, but the prosecutor responded that he was charged with actually having intercourse with the child. as per WPBF.
The arrests occurred after a four-month investigation and an FBI raid on the group’s home. Prosecutors stated that the youngest child was 5 years old when the abuse started.
Palm Beach County Judge Donald Hafele ordered the trio to be held without bail, stating that he had “seen just about everything” in his 25 years on the bench.
“To shock the court’s conscience is frankly a difficult proposition at this point in the court’s career,” Hafele remarked, acknowledging that the case had indeed shocked him.
An arrest warrant in the case stated that during the raid, investigators found ring cameras, tripods, and other items believed to have been used to record the abuse. They also discovered Venmo and transactions on other platforms that were allegedly used for the activity.
Cassini’s attorney stated in court that no videos were found, but Hafele pointed out that 33 videos had been deleted from just one online platform the day after the investigation began.
