An armed person is inside a house in Trenton, New Jersey, after reportedly killing three individuals in Pennsylvania. This caused Falls Township to call off its St. Patrick’s Day parade and close a children’s theme park.

The police released a picture of the 26-year-old suspect and the SUV he stole for his getaway. They also named him as Andre Gordon.

The Trenton Police confirmed that the occupants of the house where the gunman was holed up had been safely evacuated. according to the Associated Press.

Falls Township police stated that the three deaths in Pennsylvania occurred at two different places in the town. The SUV was taken during a carjacking at a Dollar Store parking lot, according to WPVI. WPVI reported.

Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn stated that law enforcement was summoned to a location in Levittown just before 9 a.m. on Saturday due to a shooting. They discovered Gordon’s 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon, dead. Three other individuals were present at the residence but managed to hide as Gordon searched for them, said Schorn.

Shortly after, police were called to another location where Gordon allegedly shot and killed 25-year-old Tayor Daniel, with whom he had two children. He also reportedly attacked Daniel’s mother with his assault rifle and fled.

At around 9:15, Gordon forcibly took a Honda CRV at gunpoint in Morrisville. The driver was unharmed, but Gordon drove away in the vehicle, which was later found in Trenton, close to the residence where he is suspected to be barricaded. Prior to carjacking the Honda, he had been driving a stolen car, according to the police.

Authorities mentioned that Gordon might have access to other weapons besides the rifle he used in the killings.

Authorities in nearby Middletown Township revealed that the unidentified suspect has connections in both Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Trenton, where he primarily resides, as reported by AP.

A shelter in place directive was issued in the area, but it was later lifted. Officials shut down the popular Sesame Place theme park in Langhorne.
