The fourth person involved in a shooting at a bus stop in Philadelphia earlier this month was captured on Tuesday in Virginia.
Eight students from a high school were injured in the shooting on March 6. Law enforcement stated that one of them, who was shot nine times, was the main target and is in critical condition in the hospital. as CrimeOnline reported.
Investigators from the US Marshals Service found Asir Boone, 17, in an apartment in Alexandria, Virginia, where he was hiding with a woman connected to Philadelphia, according to WPVI. WPVI reported.
Marshals mentioned that Boone appeared relieved when he was apprehended.
“He seemed worn out, but he didn’t ask any questions and we didn’t interrogate him,” stated Robert Clark, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
The police in Philadelphia had already apprehended the other three individuals involved in the shooting: Jermahd Carter, 19, and Jamaal Tucker and Ahnile Buggs, both 18. It's believed that Tucker was the driver of the getaway car seen in the shooting video. He is being held on a $16.1 million bail. Buggs has a $16 million bail, and Carter has a $4 million bail. The reason for the wide range in bails between Carter and the other two suspects is unclear.
The bail for Boone has not been disclosed.
