Police in Washington state issued an AMBER Alert for a toddler boy after reports that a ex-cop allegedly killed two women and took the child.
The Washington State Patrol issued the alert on Monday night at the West Richland Police Department's request, following the disappearance of 1-year-old Roman Huizar. as CrimeOnline reported earlier.
Police think the child is with his father, 40-year-old Elias Huizar, who fled the scene at William Wiley Elementary School in West Richland Monday afternoon after a deadly shooting.
“One adult female was declared dead at the scene outside of the school. There were no other casualties,” police confirmed on Facebook.
The victim is Elias Huizar's ex-wife, Amber Rodriguez, a teacher at the school.
Investigators then searched the suspect’s home and found another body: his underage girlfriend, identified by family members as Angelica Santos, New York Post reports, although police have not yet confirmed her identity.
“A second homicide victim was found inside the residence. No information about the victim’s identity is being released at this time, except to say that it is not Huizar but that the victim is a known associate of the suspect,” police stated in a second Facebook post.
